((OOC: Finally after a few weeks of grinding away at the bit I am high enough to warrant a recruitment thread!
If you want any information on why the Treadgore Warband was made, here are a few RP threads (Which
each take a LOOT of reading)

about how Rekh (my 2nd in command orc general) and Drekkhan met, and then later made the guild.
)
Drekkhan stood upon the large rock near the bank within orgrimmar, throwing his hands up to the sky. Taking a deep breath before he clapped his hands together, causing a loud thundering noise to fill the air. This, was simply to get the attention of those nearby.
Drekkhan's voice filled the air, amplified by the wind totem near by to empower his voice further.
"We be gettin beat on by dah alliance fah too often tah just be strikin back evereh now and den mon! It be time we be makin us a warband, and strike de alliance again and again! Join us mon, and we be takin' a horde given right! Vindahcation! Rahvenge!"
((OOC:
Treadgore Warband seeks to be more of an RP-PVP centered RP guild, however, if you are not big on pvp, don't worry, we still will hold plenty of RP events that don't include you having to scrap together a rickety pvp set just to get two shot by some guy in epics.
The Warband's main RP events will be centered around, you guessed it, Warbands.
There will be three type of Warband events that the guild is centered around:
Warbands
Warband - Friendly: This is when the guild gathers at a location such as cross roads for telling stories of battles passed, and perhaps meet new guilds that are all welcome to come. This will hopefully create a sort of 'RP hub' wherever the Warband decides to position itself that day. Most of the time this will be in an uncontested area, so you can put on that RP armor without worrying about a raid swinging in and wiping us.
Warband - Staging: This is when the warband has no real target, we will either start at a neutral town and branch out and strike nearby enemy towns, or we will simply meet up at an enemy town and wipe it out, and quickly move on to the next.
Warband - Control: The least common, most planned, and action packed of all of the RP-PVP events we will do is a Control Band. This is when we move into an enemy town and take it and keep it. These will often be hot spots that alliance frequent heavily, so to start a bit of a large scale battle.
Before and after these battles, it will be all about the RP. Speaking of how the battle went, and perhaps even developing friendships from the allies from the other guilds. This events will not just be 'alright, we're gonna attack' and have no story behind them.
Whomever become my officers and I will RP good reasons for each attack, and allies who get involved will also be welcomed to put in suggestions.
Warband Structure:
Much like the Horde itself, the Treadgore Warband will have leaders of each race. Rekh and myself are the current Troll and Orc heads of the guild.
Obviously this leaves room for a tauren, blood elf, and forsaken officer leader. We are going to begin an RP story arc to fill the other slots, but the Forsaken and Blood elf officer / chief are going to be under deeper scrutiny then the tauren, simply because these are often the most marry sue RPers.
Under each leader, there will be Champions. The leader will choose their champion, but it is requested that you pick not someone simply via popularity, but by talent in RP, activity level, and by combat prowess as well. Being a good pvper is not going to just magicly get you far in the guild, you need to be a talented RPer, a helpful guild member, and active.
Warband RP:
Let me make myself clear that RP wise, we will not just be letting you in willy nilly. SOOO heres the list:
NO: Vampires, Demons, half-vampire demons, Demon possessed something or other, half-dragons / Dragons, person related to dragons, etc. No character who has a weak demeanor that is stubborn to say, causing their character to change into a hardened combatant. No constant 'getting captured by the enemy' RPers. These people always seem to want to have all the attention on them, and getting captured just seems to be the best dam nway to do it.
Over all, I'd like people who are a bit flexible with their character, and be able to have fun. Know that IC disputes and disagreements, etc, SHOULD NOT transfer over to IC. You could be a DK that gets in a deep argument with a restoration druid, but then turn around and run some heroics together. Don't take IC business personal please!
Warband PVE:
We WILL be doing PVE, and if we get a hold of someone who is an avid RP-PVEr who is constantly wanting to organize raids, then we will certainly make a side-rank for them to be the raid leader. Otherwise, I will certainly take up the mantle and do so myself. (This isn't my only 80 ya know... I got 7)
Warband PVP:
We all know PVP is fun and can get heated, but we will NOT tolerate ANY forum drama / trash talking / Cross-faction tell sending to start trouble. If an alliance player comes to us with evidence of this, there WILL be consequences. This is a video game, and we're all here to just have fun.
The Black Book:
The name sounds evil and ill willed at first, but I assure you it is quite the opposite! The Treadgore Warband believes in the principle of 'The Chain', and that, simply put is this: You are only as strongest as the weakest link!
So, when new members join the guild they have the option of signing themselves into the Black Book. This puts you at the lowest rank in the guild with a special rank, 'Soft Paw'
This rank signifies that you require aid, either it be gearing in instances, learning the new class you've picked up, or being taught a few tricks in pvp, this rank is for the people who struggle a little bit.
This is to strengthen the guild, and build friendships between the guild members. One can choose to become somewhat of a mentor of one of the Soft Paws, but it is not required for any kind of ascension in the guild on either accord.
Earning your Claws:
The guild tabard has a pair of claws upon it, thusly why this is a right of passage in the guild. After successfully joining in a few guild events, you earn your claws and earn the right to wear the guild Tabard.
Along with earning your claws, the step up out of the black book is also an event that will be held every now and then as well.
Updated! But still if I forgot anything, do please say something!
